When it comes to eyewear, our store falls into two categories, sunglasses and goggles.
The sunglasses we carry are military aviator glasses manufactured by American Optical Company or other manufactures of these glasses that are issued to our servicemen. We also sell aviator type glasses that look like the actual glasses but are much less expensive and still very popular.
We also have a wide variety of goggles available to our customers. Some of the goggles we sell look very similar to sunglasses but are much more rugged and come in different colored rims and colored lenses. We have clear lenses, dark lenses, mirrored lenses and yellow lenses depending on the model goggles you select. Many of our goggles are actually manufactured in various countries and made according to the country of origin. The majority of goggle we sell are from Russia, China, Germany and Britain. Other goggles we sell are commercial type goggles worn for air soft, motorcycling or wind type situation.
In our inventory of goggles one of the more popular type that we sell is the military issued or military style sun, dust and wind goggles that are worn by our servicemen in combat usually in sever weather related situation (ie desert). Sometimes we get variations of these military goggles and are lucky when we do because we usually cannot get them for sale on a regular basis. These Ballistic Sun, Dust and Wind goggles consists of an injection molded rubber frame with a polyurethane foam backing that contacts the face and provide more comfort. The goggle is compatible with standard military prescription eyewear. Flannel covered vent holes allow some ventilation while keeping dust out. Over the years, SWDG goggles have been improved to provide ballistic and laser eye protection. One size fits most, and they come with an option of clear and one dark lenses.
