Military Issued General Purpose tents are sold in our store. They are not on the shelf like our other products because of the weight and size. We usually sell these by appointment and if selling on-line we will have to make special arrangements for shipping options.
We carry two sizes in the squad tent. We have the General Purpose small tent that measures 16’X16’ and is shaped like a hexagon. This particular tent is made of canvas or vinyl, and can sleep 6-8 people. The tent weights about 100 lbs.
Beside the smaller size tent, we sell medium tents that measures 16’X32’. The medium size tents are rectangular in shape and made of canvas or vinyl with tent sides that roll up. The medium tent sleeps up to 10-12 people and weighs about 250 lbs. These tents are sold with or without poles and accessories like vestibules and liners are also available.
Our customers who buy these large military tents use them for storage, temporary housing, hunting accommodations and many for the Burning Man event held in the Nevada desert every Labor Day week/weekend. These tents are very durable and heavy duty, and provided the necessary shelter for larger groups.
