These were first used during the Vietnam War and are still used currently by servicemen and civilians. These bags come in two sizes and can be used on backpack frames or without. Military bags are primarily constructed of Green nylon and in some cases Camouflage. Alice packs have been manufactured commercially in black and other popular camouflage patterns.
Military backpacks have become more elaborate during Desert Storm and The Iraq
