Miscellaneous merchandise in our store is a huge part of the store inventory because of the military collectibles, gadgets and novelty items that we come across. We carry military, camping and basic items that would not be categorized in any other heading. We also sell merchandise that is one time or special purchase.
Our miscellaneous section does tend to be a popular section of our store because most of the things you find here cannot be found in a regular department store. Again they are usually related somehow to the military or surplus and therefore are harder to find. We carry a selection whistles and lanyards. These whistles are made from plastic, metal or brass. Military whistles come in green or black plastic with a heavy-duty lanyard. We carry storm whistles, German Boatswain Whistles, referee and dog whistles. Most of these come with lanyards but we do sell each item separately.
The store also sells locks for duffle bags, which can be used for general use for traveling. The locks are different than ones purchased at other retail stores, they are designed specifically for the protection and use of locking a duffle bag. Our locks are small enough to loop through the duffle bag rings and add that extra security some customers desire. We also carry ammo boxes and ammo box locks.
Our store also carries Para cord in different colors, sizes and lengths. We carry rope that we purchase as remnants for climbing, pulling and towing. Ropes come in different diameter, length and colors. We sell nylon and canvas straps in different sizes and with different hardware. We have buckles for belts and fanny packs. We sell such novelty items as camouflage pillows, clocks, key chains and face paint. Really a plethora of items to serve all of customers no matter what they are looking for.
In truth, our items in the miscellaneous category are too numerous to mention and continue to change on a daily basis. However, our store is filled with one of kind items and items one would not find in other retail stores.
