Our rain gear department consists of rain suits, separate jackets and pants, ponchos, raincoats, rubber boots and tarps. Our items are military type, commercial grade and actual military issued when they are available. Many of our military issued raincoats are government contracted by well-known companies like London Fog,
North Face, and Helly Hansen.
There are many manufacturers of rainwear. To narrow down what to carry in our store, we based our inventory according to our customers. Our rainwear is moderately priced for affordability and functionality.
Raingear is manufactured using different types of waterproofed materials like vinyl, plastic, PVC, rubber, nylon and gortex and other high tech modern materials. We carry a great deal of rainwear made from all the rain proofed materials. We have jackets and pants together or separate. We also have jackets and overall sets. We carry inexpensive one time use rainwear, like disposable ponchos, and also more durable items for customers working outdoors during rainy season.
Our store has many original rainwear and ponchos from the U.S, government and many European countries (majority German, French, Dutch). We sell rubber boots, overshoes, gortex boots and snow boots to complete the rain department.
Polyethylene tarps are under rain gear because we do a brisk business selling tarps in 3 different quality grades (mil specification) during the rainy season. We have up to 20 different sizes during peak season and will take orders for large sizes (used mainly for roofs like 40 feet x 40 feet) if we do not have them in stock.
Our rainwear is sold year round and is not seasonal like most retail stores. We keep the department stocked all year round so that we can also cater to
customers who go camping and backpacking during the summer months.
