The selection of socks that we carry in our store are based on military type socks as well weather appropriate socks for all seasons. The basic socks we sell for military use are available in black or khaki. They use to be green but no longer use this color due to the BDU uniform colors. Due to the warm weather conditions most of the khaki socks are wick off type socks. The other socks we carry are a combination of wool and polyester for wearing with combat boots especially in cold weather. We have G.I. Issue Army Cushion Sole Socks. These socks are a wool/cotton blend with cushion heel and foot for extra comfort and durability.
For the different types of weather that each season brings, we try to carry an assortment of weather related socks. The main brand we carry is Wigwam, in a variety of colors and styles. Besides soldiers and military personnel, we get a great deal of campers, backpackers and travelers in our store who are always looking for a solid pair of socks for their next adventure. We find that the Wigwam socks are durable, comfortable and due the job nicely.
We also sell polypropylene sock liners in black. These keep moisture off your feet so you do not get cold and your feet are dry and comfortable. Once in a while we do sell dress black socks to be worn with dress oxfords. This type of sock in very light weight and stretchy like regular civilian type socks.
