Description
 
New U.S.M.C. Marpat Desert Gortex Parka Apecs-L/L.  This parka currently comes in size Large Long.  The parka is brand NEW (in the bag with tags), government issue Marine Corps Apecs (all-purpose environmental clothing system).  This Gortex parka is digital desert Marpat camouflage.  The government contractor for this jacket is Propper International Inc.  

National stock no. is: NSN 8415-01-506-5813

This parka is in its original unopened package and is as NEW as it gets!!  This is the current issue Gortex Parka that is being worn by our fighting U.S. Marine Corps in the Middle East.  There are small EGA USMC logos embedded within the digital desert camouflage pattern throughout the parka shell--this is the indicator that is is genuine government approved USMC issue.  In addition, on the inside of the jacket there is a sewn in label depicting a multicolor EGA logo.  On this label the government contractor (Propper International) states that this parka was "Made Expressly for the United States Marine Corps"

Features: All seams are Gore-Seam Taped, insuring complete water proofability.  Waist adjustable elastic cinch cord with fastex locker, keeps the wind out and the heat in to keep the wearer warm and dry.  Reinforced elbows.  Velcro closure adjustable cuffs.  2 large waist cargo pockets with side access to separate handwarmer pockets.  Under arm zippered vents give wearer comfort control via easier movement and increased air circulation.  2 inner pockets and 2 shoulder pockets with velcro closure flaps.  The attached hood on the parka can be rolled up and stored within the collar.  The Collar has a draw cord for adjustment and can also accommodate an optional detachable hood with fur ruff for use in extreme cold weather.  There is a tab on the front left side of the parka to allow for attaching insignia.  All three zippers on the jacket (the front closure, the concealed upper chest pockets, and the underarm openings) employ water resistant slide fasteners.  Each of the zipper pull tabs have extensions to allow for better gripping, thus making it easier to open and close zippers when the user is wearing gloves.  

Sizing Specifications: Height: From 71 inches and up.  Chest: From 41-45 inches.
